Ramadan Day 3 — The Healing Power of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is one of the heaviest spiritual doors we are asked to walk through — not because it is wrong, but because it requires vulnerability.
Ramadan opens this door gently.
Forgiveness in Islam is not pretending something didn’t hurt. It is acknowledging the wound and choosing to place it in Allah’s care rather than letting it poison the heart. This includes forgiving others — and forgiving yourself.
Many women carry quiet guilt into Ramadan.
Things they wish they had done differently.
Years they feel were wasted.
Versions of themselves they no longer recognize.
Allah does not ask you to stay stuck there.
He asks you to return.
Forgiveness is not weakness. It is surrender.
It is trusting Allah to be the Judge where you no longer want to be the jailer of your own heart.
