Qur’an as Companion, NOT a Checklist

The Qur’an was not revealed to be rushed. It was revealed to be lived with. Allah says: “This is a Book which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may reflect upon its verses.” Qur’an 38:29 كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ The Qur’an is not meant to become another productivity task. It is meant to be a companion in grief. A light in confusion. A mirror when the heart feels lost. Even one verse, read slowly, can be more transformative than pages read without presence. Let the Qur’an walk beside you—not chase you.
